Programme Preview:
AFTER HITTING DOUBLE FIGURES FOR HIS CAMBRIDGE UNITED CAREER SO FAR, WITH HIS TENTH GOAL ON HIS 50TH START FOR THE U’S, GEORGE MARIS CATCHES UP WITH THE MATCH DAY PROGRAMME.
George, your goal last weekend was your sixth for the 2017/18 season, you must have been delighted to add to your tally at Brunton Park and where does it put you in regards to your targets for the campaign?
It’s always nice to score. It wasn’t a spectacular goal by any means and they always mean that bit more when we come away with the three points. But to be on the scoresheet is always a good feeling. The target for the campaign was double figures and I’ll be doing my best to try and squeeze that in before the end of the season comes around.
I felt like I was really picking up momentum before I missed a few games with concussion a couple of weeks back which was a little frustrating. I’m slowly picking that form back up though and I’m hoping I can put together a few games before the end of the season.
Also in tomorrow’s programme:
- Interim Head Coach – Joe Dunne
- Away Profile – Crawley Town
- 100 Years of Coconuts
- Football World – Mike Barnes
- Around the Division – Neil Cole
- Marvin’s Message
- The Stat Pack
- Ethos Community Hero of the Day – Ruth Fox
