ELMS CAMBRIDGE BMW STRENGTHEN PARTNERSHIP TO BECOME COMMUNITY FOOTBALL SPONSORS

Elms Cambridge BMW have strengthened their partnership with Cambridge United Football Club with a deal that will see them become the sponsors of the U's ever-expanding Community Football Programme.

Following the success of the club's highly popular Soccer Schools holiday courses, which the Cambridge-based car retailer sponsored in February 2015, Elms have now taken their partnership with the U's to the next level.

As well as continuing their sponsorship of the Soccer Schools, Elms Cambridge BMW will also become sole sponsors of the Soccer Centre programme, which offers an open-access opportunity for children aged 4-12 to enjoy weekly one hour training sessions.

Meanwhile, the Soccer Tots programme which provides children aged 2 -5 years old the chance to take their first steps in football has also now received the support of Elms Cambridge BMW.

Similar to the Soccer Schools, both programmes are delivered at over 20 regional venues spanning the local area.

In 2015 alone Elms Cambridge BMW Soccer Schools took over 7,400 bookings, with numbers continuing to rise during 2016. However this enhanced partnership will now see the club and Elms Cambridge BMW continue to drive youth development together across all programmes.

Meanwhile, Head of Business at Elms Cambridge BMW Justin Reason said: "We are incredibly proud to develop our partnership with Cambridge United Football Club and particularly pleased to support the excellent Community Football Programme, developing young talent in our local community.”

Cambridge United Business Development Operations Manager Liz Slack commented: "We are delighted that Elms Cambridge BMW will become the exclusive sponsor of our Community Football Programme.

“This deal ensures that the Elms Cambridge BMW brand remains at the centre of the open-access football programme delivered by Cambridge United Football Club whilst also ensuring that they are now driving forward the development and enhancement of the newly sponsored Soccer Centres and the Soccer Tots programme.”
