The 20-year-old striker joins from his boyhood Club, Nottingham Forest, until the end of the 2024-25 season.
A prolific striker for the Reds Academy, Rotherham United won the race for Osong’s signature during the summer, signing him on a season-long loan deal.
He was recalled by his parent Club at the beginning of January and now signs with the U’s to bolster Garry Monk’s attacking options.
Osong said, “I am really excited to get going - I just want to play football now. It’s a big opportunity for me and I am ready to take it.”
“I am delighted to welcome Esapa to the Club,” Garry Monk added. “He is highly regarded, has all the attributes needed to be a success and is hungry to do well. I am looking forward to working with him over the coming months.”
Osong will wear the number 21 shirt whilst with the U’s.
