Cambridge United supporters can now vote for their Love Cambridge Player of the Month for October 2023...
Despite a difficult start to the month, which saw United's form dip for the first time this season, a late rally to see out October helped the U's go three games unbeaten, keeping clean sheets in each of the final three games.
With that in mind, this month's nominees are largely defensive based - Jack Stevens, Michael Morrison, Paul Digby and James Brophy all up for the award.
Stevens continues to impress between the sticks and has played a huge part in the U's fine defensive record, adding another shut-outs to his and the team's best-in-the-country clean sheet record.
Captain Michael Morrison is nominated for the second straight month, following another batch of commanding performances at the back, but it was his outrageous solo goal against Port Vale which really caught the eye, as the centre-back scored his first goal for the Club in 16 years.
Paul Digby receives a first nomination of the season for his ever-consistent displays in midfield. Usually deployed in a deep-lying poisition, he showed his adaptability with a Man of the Match performance higher up the pitch in the win against Carlisle United.
Finally, James Brophy is up for the award after continuing to show his endeavour to get forward and take the game to the opposition - often leading many of United's attacks from the wing.
