Season Ticket renewals on sale Tuesday

What a thrill! Last season’s dramatic finale sparked memorable celebrations all around the Abbey Stadium and reminded us that in football, anything is possible...

Last season also reiterated the fact that the ‘U in United’ is what makes our Club great. Your support throughout what was often a difficult season never wavered and inspired the team to a famous late rally for survival.

An average home attendance of almost 6,200 was the third highest in the Club’s history – a remarkable achievement and one that we intend to build upon next season.

Sign up for another season with the U’s and support us in our next chapter. Season Tickets go on sale to existing holders from 10am on Tuesday 16th May, with new sales commencing 4th July.

From the CEO.png

“Last season’s Season Ticket campaign was tagged ‘Add to the Memories’ and whilst the season was tough at times, in the end, it gave us one of the great memories in the Club’s recent history, a historic final day survival.

“Your support last season was truly remarkable. Our crowds increased on average by almost 10% and only the seasons of 1978/79 and 1991/92 – both when the Club were playing in the second tier – can boast a higher average attendance.

“The Abbey is now such a vibrant place to be on Matchdays and that’s thanks to you. It’s fantastic to see so many different people from all walks of life, across all generations, enjoying what we have to offer.

“We made big strides to improve the Matchday experience last season and we have already started work on making improvements to raise the bar ahead of next. These will include Fan Zones being expanded with added cover, food and drink offerings increased, whilst our offering to families and young supporters will be another area we will invest into again.

“We have had to increase prices for the new season due to inflation. Since last April when we last set prices, we have experienced a significant increase in our operating costs.

“Adult and Concession Season Tickets have increased by an average of 8.5%, whilst increases have been made to Junior Season Tickets to reflect an improved offering, with per game costs being between £2-5.

“Increasing prices is always sensitive, however, we believe we have found a suitable compromise which makes a Season Ticket an affordable purchase, whilst offering supporters an improved matchday experience and good value.

‘’In addition to Season Ticket Holders receiving free entry to all Cambridge United Women fixtures, they will also receive free mental health support through our partners Mynurva.

“1 in 4 people will suffer with thier mental health during their life which represents 750 of our current Season Ticket Holders. You are there for us week in week out and this service allows us to be there for you should you need support.

“Please join us again next season and let’s continue on this journey together, United in Endeavour.”

Junior U's.png

The Club has never had more young supporters coming regularly to the Abbey Stadium and we are more focused than ever on attracting and retaining the next generation of U’s fans.

B21I3968.jpg

We had hundreds of Junior U’s engage with the Club last season, and in addition to Season Ticket access, they had the opportunity to win gifts and experiences in exclusive prize draws, received an invitation to the Junior U’s Open Day and nearly 100 of the most loyal young fans walked out onto the pitch at half-time of the final game of the season to receive their Junior U’s Medal.

Junior U’s membership is included in the purchase of all Under 12 Season Tickets and next season we plan to make the experience for Junior U’s even better, so stay tuned for more information on what’s to come!

Please note, Junior U's Season Tickets must be purchased in conjunction with a full paying Adult/Concession Season Ticket.
