Cambridge United would like to inform supporters that access to the Cambridge United Supporters Club at half-time during matchdays will no longer be permitted from the Newmarket Road End...
The decision follows a review by the Sports Ground Safety Authority and the Club’s Safety Advisory Group who have highlighted the current arrangements to be a breach of the Guide to Safety at Sports Grounds (also known as the Green Guide), as well as the Club’s Stadium Safety Certificate.
The Supporters Club have been notified of this directive which will be effective as immediately.
The Club would like to thank supporters for their understanding of our requirement to operate the Abbey Stadium in a safe manner.
