CUFC Lottery continues to go from strength-to-strength as the recent boost in players has allowed for a number of exciting investments…
This summer, the Club’s official lottery scheme - which is sponsored by Postscript - has invested £20,000 into the development of the Main Stand and Habbin Fan Zones, with large covered structures erected in both areas to help protect supporters from the outside elements.
The canopies that used to be in place at both the Main Stand and Habbin Fan Zones have now migrated to the NRE Fan Zone.
A complete rebuild of the Main Stand Abbey Grill catering unit - now Abbey Eatery - has also taken place.
Cambridge United and CUFC Lottery are also pleased to announce that a thrilling new prize has been added to the ‘Midweek Money Can’t Buy’ draw – which takes place every Wednesday throughout the season.
Using the new CUFC Lottery Matchball podium, lottery players will have the opportunity to present the Matchball to the referee as the team enters the pitch ahead of kick-off. The prize will be drawn twice a month and comes along with two Main Stand tickets.
Opportunities to win a signed shirt and hospitality tickets are presented on the other two weeks of the month as part of the ‘Midweek Money Can’t Buy’ draw.
Finally, to celebrate the Club’s upcoming milestones of 2,000 league & 1,000 home league fixtures – which will take place on the Saturday 19 August home game against Bristol Rovers - CUFC Lottery are going to draw and announce 6 x £500 lucky winners (£3,000 total) as extra ‘Must Win’ prizes.
CEO Alex Tunbridge said, “On behalf of the Club, I would like to thank CUFC Lottery for their support in helping us continue to improve the matchday experience at the Abbey Stadium. This summer’s investments along with many others over the course of last season are enabling us to continue to move forward in our bid to make the Abbey an enjoyable place for supporters of all ages.”
Sign up to CUFC Lottery from just £2 a week and be entered into the ‘Must Win Monday’, ‘Midweek Money Can’t Buy’ and ‘Abbey Accumulator’ draws every week, whilst helping fund improvements to facilities and the fan experience at the Abbey Stadium.
