"The group embodies our academy values of being Honest, Humble & Hard Working and we are excited for them to continue their football at Cambridge United. The players have taken part in our varied games programme over the last season and we look forward to continuing to offer them a variety of experiences as they embark on their academy journey.

"We would like to thank the local grassroots teams and private academies who have supported these boys in their pre-academy years and we will endeavour to continue the hard work that has gone before us. A special thank you to Jake Hammond, Steve Holmes and Sam Skinner for their efforts in welcoming these young players and their families to the Academy."

Their recent signing day saw the boys play a fixture against on the Abbey Stadium pitch, receive a welcome talk from the Academy coaching team and have their photos taken in the Club's Board Room.
