The EFL's Guide was published to help Clubs adopt a more consistent approach in how they manage supporters who breach the terms and conditions of entry and ground regulations at stadiums.
The extensive guidance has been issued to support Clubs in tackling fan behaviour, with an emphasis on consistency and proportionate outcomes for both the fan and the Club. There are also several recommended sanctions based around the many different types of behaviour experienced from a minority of fans visiting stadia, including restorative justice.
The policy is effective as of 1st February and is bound to the Club’s Stadium Ground Regulations, which can be found here.
