The Week Ahead: South Wales trip & Cardiff clash

Cambridge United's First Team squad are heading to South Wales this week for a mini Pre-Season training camp...

Mark Bonner's U's travel to the Vale Resort in Glamorgan on Thursday, where they will stay until Sunday following a Behind-Closed-Doors friendly against Cardiff City on Saturday afternoon. Match updates and post-match reaction will be posted on the Club's Twitter account and Cambridge-United.co.uk throughout the afternoon.

Ticketing details for Cambridge's two home Pre-Season friendlies - against QPR and Northampton - will be revealed later this week, as supporters will be welcomed back to The Abbey Stadium for the first time this year.

Season Tickets remain on General Sale and with 2,100 supporters already signed up for a season of League One Football, we are looking set for a fantastic atmosphere at the Abbey next season. All three kits for 2020/21 are also on sale now, so get yourself geared up for the new season with your favourite shirt.

In other Club news, last year's Season Ticket Holders are invited to get their photos taken with the League Two Promotion Trophy next week, with dates and locations now revealed.

Supporters are also to be advised that Cambridge United Supporters' Panel (CUSP) is calling on members of the fan base to stand for election to join its panel. To find out more, please click here.

Cambridge United Community Trust has two fantastic job opportunities available, as the Club's award-winning charity is recruiting a Forever United Project Officer & Community Coach to join their team. Click here for more information and to find out how to apply.

The Trust are also looking for over 50's who would like to play football at a quicker pace than Walking Football. SuperVets aims to fill the void between 35+ veterans football and walking football, aimed towards the fitter, quicker players to bridge the gap between the two spectrums. SuperVets takes place on Tuesday nights between 6-7pm at the Abbey Leisure Centre. Click here to book onto a session.

Finally, Cambridge United's Youth Development Camps are just two weeks away. Starting on Monday 26th July, Soccer Camps for Girls, Regional Development Centre players and Goalkeepers are running all Summer long. Places are being taken now, so click here to book your child onto an upcoming course.
