Cambridge United Supporters' Panel Elections Open

Cambridge United Supporters' Panel is calling on members of the fan base to stand for election to join its panel…

As part of the CUSP constitution, the membership is up for election by the fans every two years.

CUSP was formed to represent the views and interests of U’s fans worldwide by bridging the gap between the fans and the Cambridge United Board of Directors.

The remit of CUSP is to canvas opinions from fans on all aspects of the Club and to present these to the Cambridge United Board at regular meetings in order to bring about positive improvements.

CUSP aims to bring the Football Club and the fans closer together by improving communication and transparency.

After two challenging years for football as a whole, CUSP is looking forward to supporting the fans as crowds return to the Abbey Stadium.

In the last two years, CUSP have helped with the following endeavours:

  • The purchase and installation of a new fixture board at the front of the ground & the United in Endeavour flag behind the goal
  • Championed the support of mental health for supporters
  • Helped advise the club on the situation with fans back in the ground & supported fans on day-to-day matters such as ticketing and iFollow
  • Liaising with grassroots clubs to recruit ball boys and girls
  • Work to bring Cambridge Mosque, The Club and CFU together via the Cambs FA Inclusion and Diversity Committee chair

CUSP want to continue this important work and help the Club move forward in its journey in League One.

As a result, CUSP are looking for enthusiastic and proactive fans to stand for election. If interested, please send an email to cuspuie2019@gmail.com. The closing date for all applications is Friday 23rd July.
