As preparations for the new season begin to get underway for Cambridge United, the Football Club are pleased to confirm the first team squad numbers for the 2020/21 campaign.
Goalkeepers Dimitar Mitov (1) and Callum Burton (25) will both keep the same numbers.
Harrison Dunk of course retains his number 11 jersey as he moves into a decade with the U’s, whilst Greg Taylor keeps number five as he moves into his ninth year at the Abbey. Liam O’Neil, who also signed a year extension with the U’s earlier this summer, will remain in the United number 8 shirt.
New arrivals Paul Mullin (10), Paul Digby (4), Wes Hoolahan (14) and Joe Ironside (20) have all been allocated their numbers for the forthcoming year.
The likes of Kyle Knoyle (2), Luke Hannant (7), Andrew Dallas (9), Leon Davies (17), Harvey Knibbs (26), Ben Worman (27) and Joe Neal (28) will all have the same numbers as last season. Harry Darling however switches from number 16 to number 6.
Having signed their first professional contracts with the Club last season, academy products Lewis Simper and Tom Dickens move into the first team fold and have been given numbers 22 and 29 respectively.
