Following the conclusion of the nomination phase, we are pleased to confirm 16 supporters have put themselves forward to stand for election to be the first members of the Cambridge United Supporters’ Panel.
Supporters had until midnight on Sunday 17th March to register their interest in becoming a candidate for the election.
Information about all the candidates now standing will be published on the Club website later this week and will be available online throughout the election, as well as in the all match day programmes for the fixtures with Colchester United, Newport County and Swindon Town.
The first members of CUSP will be elected by an online ballot, to be run during the first two weeks of April closing on14th April.
Those who believe they submitted a nomination but did not receive a receipt from Nigel Pearce, should contact Tom.Stewart@Cambridge-United.co.uk as a matter of urgency.
Earlier this month the CUSP constitution was agreed at a meeting between working group and Godric Smith on behalf of Cambridge United’s Board of Directors. The constitution can now be viewed by clicking here and provides supporters with further information about CUSP and how it will operate.
