As is now an annual tradition for Cambridge United, the first team players paid a festive visit to Children’s Wards at Addenbrooke’s Hospital this week.
The majority of United’s first team squad visited wards D2, C2, and F3. The U's spent time chatting to the children, parents and siblings, as well as staff, signing autographs and putting a smile on many faces.
Goodie bags containing a number of Cambridge United related presents were given out and left for the children who will unfortunately find themselves in hospital over the next few weeks.
Cambridge United would like to thank all the staff at Addenbrooke’s for accommodating the players, as well as for all the amazing hard work they do all year round, which we were fortunate to view briefly during our visit.
