GALLERY | EFL KIDS CUP - 2018/19

This week saw pupils from 12 local primary schools take part in the annual EFL Kids Cup at Bottisham Village College, with the winners earning the chance to represent the U’s in the area finals at Swindon Town in January.

Following another well-competed tournament, Queen Emma Primary School prevailed over Milton in a dramatic final that could only separate the sides via a penalty shoot-out.

They will now be the U’s representatives in the 2018/19 EFL Kids Cup, with the next phase of the competition seeing them take on the representatives from the likes of Luton Town Colchester United, Coventry City and Stevenage.

The EFL Kids Cup concludes with a showpiece final taking place at Wembley Stadium!

Schools that competed in this week’s Club Finals were:

Ashwell Primary School
Bottisham Primary School x 2
Stephen Perse
Hardwick and Cambourne Community Primary School
Duxford Community C of E Primary School
Morley Memorial Primary School
Ditton Lodge Primary School
Colville Primary School
Queen Emma Primary School
Cheveley Primary School
St Laurence Catholic Primary School
A huge thank you to Bottisham Village College for the use of their 3G facilities and all those who competed on the day.

Finally, the very best of luck to the team from Queen Emma, representing the U’s in Swindon in just over a month’s time!
