ADAM PHILLIPS PREVIEW:
The youngster, who arrives with a strong reputation having spent ten years within Liverpool’s youth system before joining Norwich permanently in the summer, is expecting a step up in the speed of play in Sky Bet League Two, as well as an increased importance on results.
However, he feels more than ready to tackle it head on: “The biggest difference of course from playing at an U23s level to here in League Two, is that the games are all worth something. There is always three points available.
“Whereas at U23s level you might have a good game but lose and you may receive praise, in the Football League the focus is very clear on everyone achieving results, so that will be a new experience for me but one I’m looking forward to.
“I also think the speed of play will also be a tougher test to what I am used to, but it’s a challenge that excites me and will definitely help me in the long run.
“It will all be a good experience for me, so I won’t soak up as much as I can, and of course get as many games under my bet as possible too. It’s very important I do my part for the team as well, I really want to play a role in getting the team as high up League as possible.”
