PROGRAMME PREVIEW:

U'S MIDFIELD MAN LIAM O'NEIL CATCHES UP WITH THE MATCH DAY PROGRAMME FOLLOWING HIS SUCCESSFUL RETURN TO THE FIRST TEAM FOLD AT SINCIL BANK ON SATURDAY AFTERNOON.

The 24-year old has had to bide his time to make an impact over recent weeks but took his chance with both hands on Saturday, featuring alongside fellow midfielder Gary Deegan as the pair produced a solid display at Lincoln City.

O'Neil discusses the importance of being ready as a squad member for an opportunity, he said: "Every player will say that it's frustrating when you are not playing.

"You have to be patient and wait for that chance and give it everything you have got to keep hold of that position. I was pleased with my performance on Saturday but I still feel I can offer more by looking to get on the ball and winning us possession more frequently.

"As a professional you have to keep yourself fit when you are away from regular first team action so that you are totally ready when the opportunity comes around.

"Thankfully the change in formation on Saturday meant I came into the side, and I'm hoping it's something that I can build on."
