The Abbey Arms will be the venue for Cambridge Fans United’s latest meeting with fans trust Board members and Cambridge United staff, at 5.15pm, after today’s match.
The meeting will be relatively informal and will provide CFU members and fans generally with an opportunity to meet with representatives of the fans trust and to ask questions on the its activities and plans.
Dave Matthews-Jones, the Fans Elected Director and the football club’s Supporters Liaison Officer, will provide an update on work around the ground to improve the matchday experience for home and away supporters.
Robert Osbourn, Chair of CFU’s Trust Board will be available to answer questions on the work of the trust
Also invited to take part are Ben Strang, CUFC’s Head of Football Operations, Andy Pickard, Club Safety Officer and Dave Doggett, Club Chairman.
Other staff may also pop in, if they are available.
So, if you would like to know how many pots of paint have been used, so far, in the sprucing up of the Cambs Glass Stadium; why the CFU caravan has taken up a new location on matchdays; the reasons behind the closing of the Habbin / NRE gate; how the player scouting system operates or how much time the chairman spends at the club each week, then do come along and take part.
