PREVIEW

You scored in the First Round Replay against Dover Athletic. How important in terms of the season do you feel that win was?

It was a very important win because we have built some real momentum since that game. The belief we were able to take from that game both in the League which you can see in our recent performances and results, as well as today’s match is really important.

We all feel we can secure a place in the next round.

What does the FA Cup mean to you?

For me personally I’ve only ever managed to make it through the first couple of rounds, so I would like to go on a proper run in this competition. Of course all the teams at our level will ideally be looking to get that big draw in the third round.

The FA Cup is one of those competitions where anything can happen, like non-league teams getting through a number of rounds and really competing against sides ranked higher than them. It is a historical cup that will live in English football for a long time.
