APPLY FOR NCS WITH CAMBRIDGE UNITED

Application deadline this Friday!

The application deadline for Cambridge United’s first course of NCS this autumn closes Friday, with more information on the government initiative available here!

National Citizen Service (NCS) is a way for 15 to 17 year olds living in England and Northern Ireland to make extraordinary friendships, learn important life skills and create unforgettable memories.

The government initiative aims at boosting participant’s personal and social development through a series of phases, Adventure, Future and Making a Difference. The programme is a ‘Once in a Lifetime Opportunity’ that runs three times a year, Spring, Summer and Autumn and is delivered in partnership with The Football League Trust.

Activities include the chance to work in a team at an outdoor activity centre for a week, producing a C.V and learning important key skills such as teamwork, leadership and communication, before putting them into practice with a social action project that can make a difference within the local community. All of which increase participant’s future employability prospects.

Those who would like to register an interest have until Friday 9th October to apply, by emailing Daz.Coakley@Cambridge-United.co.uk or by calling 01223 632 129.
