Young U’s side beaten 2-1

A youthful Cambridge United outfit comprising of trialists, Scholars and development players were narrowly beaten 2-1 by Concord Rangers in miserable conditions at the Aspect Arena.

Jordan Chiedozie playing against his former club, featured for an hour and scored from the penalty spot during the first half to level the scores after Tony Stokes had broken the deadlock on five minutes for the Beach Boys.

However Steve Crawley registered the decisive goal for the home side six minutes before the break to complete a 2-1 score line on the night.

A more experienced U’s side travel to Greater London tomorrow afternoon to face Bromley FC, kick off 3pm.
