U’s Reach 2,000 Season Ticket Holders
Cambridge United have today reached the 2,000 milestone for 2015/16 season ticket holders, two weeks ahead of the start of the new Sky Bet League Two campaign.
The figures continue to surge for the U’s this summer, with an unprecedented number of supporters securing their place for the 2015/16 season at the Abbey Stadium.
No less than ten new signings have joined the club in recent months, whilst the developments taking place on the pitch have been equally matched by those being completed off it, including two brand new playing shirts and a newly refurbished Abbey Stadium.
The progression across the club as well as the prospect of a new season has clearly excited Cambridge United supporters, with more than 2,000 of them signing up to the 23 games on home soil this year.
For those supporters who have not yet done so, season tickets are still available online, in-store or over the phone on 01223 566 500, with Tuesday night’s pre-season friendly against Coventry City totally free to season ticket holders. Whilst there is just one week left to split the payment over three instalments, so be sure not miss that opportunity.
Meanwhile the 2015/16 home and away jerseys have also proven extremely popular with the Amber Army, with over 800 home and 350 away flying off the shelves. Click here to check out the new shirts!
Season ticket collection is available from the club shop now between 10am – 4pm on a weekday.
Tickets went on sale earlier this week for United’s first game of the new Sky Bet League Two campaign against Newport County on Saturday 8th August (KO 3pm) at the Abbey Stadium.
A bumper crowd is expected to welcome the U’s back to Football League action and demand for tickets is expected to be high, so the club is therefore advising supporters to get their hands on tickets as soon as possible to avoid missing out on this notable fixture.
