The Head of Academy Medical will be required to lead on clinical examinations of the academy U18s and U21s, and supporting the U9-U16 lead therapist with the management of the Schoolboy Medical Programme. They will also be required to manage all full-time and part-time academy therapists to ensure appropriate medical coverage of training, fixtures, and tours.
Required Skills, Knowledge, Qualifications & Experience:
- BSc in Physiotherapy
- Level 5 ATMMiF Qualification or equivalent (desired)
- Level 4 ATMMiF Qualification or equivalent (required)
- Knowledge of EPPP & PGAAC requirements
- Experience working in an elite sporting environment with young athletes
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- Reliable and committed
- Willingness to work weekday evenings
