Agenda:
1. Football Governance Bill:
Stephanie Peacock is the new sports minister working under the minister for culture, media and sport Lisa Nandy.
The bill is being re-drafted. The Premier League and The EFL have very different objectives. The parachute payments are the biggest stumbling block.
The IR needs to be able to get involved with all financial deals when it feels it needs to. Golden Shares won't be included as such because the bill will cover all aspects included within the Golden Share.
2. Ground Redevelopment:
Now looking like the planning application will be submitted at the end of the season. Perspective club partners have requested some alterations to the plans and these are being drawn up. There has to be some community assets in the development. It is likely that most of the work will be carried out over a summer, the ground will still be usable with reduced capacity.
3. New Badge:
Next press release will be before the end of the year. The Shadow Board fully endorses the method of fans' involvement in the process of choosing the new badge.
4. SB Communication with fans:
The Shadow Board will set up at least one social media account to communicate to fans as necessary.
5. Current Form of First Team:
The Shadow Board welcomed and fully supported the recent statement from the owners and club board concerning the poor start to the season.
