Ian Darler's Cambridge Charity Fundraisers and the Cambridge Independent have teamed up once again for the Inspirational YoungStars Awards...
Do you know a youngster who has gone above and beyond in the community? Someone who has put other people’s needs first with an act of fundraising? A young person who has shown bravery to help others or save life? Or a young carer who has gone above and beyond what would be expected of someone of their age?
If so, click here to nominate them for the 2025 Inspirational YoungStars Awards.
There are seven categories this year and the awards are open for boys and girls aged between 6 and 18. The categories are:
- Outstanding Young Carer
- Unsung Community Hero
- The Inspirational Award
- The Environmental Award
- Outstanding Fundraiser
- Unsung Hero
- Outstanding Bravery
Cambridge United Stadium Manager and Head Groundsman, Ian Darler said, “We have seen in previous years that Cambridgeshire has some outstanding children who deserve recognition for the incredible things they do to help others.
“We urge parents, grandparents, guardians, organisations, schools, clubs and anybody who works with children to nominate their young stars by filling in the simple form.”
Entries can be made by clicking here and close on Wednesday 30 April. The winners will be celebrated in a ceremony at the Cledara Abbey Stadium on Friday 4 July 2025.
