Supporters are reminded to please be considerate if parking on local streets and always follow local guidance and parking laws...
This reminder comes following reports in recent weeks of a large number of supporters parking on Ditton Walk and surrounding streets, which has meant for obstructed access to residents and potentially emergency service vehicles. Parking on residential drives and grass verges is prohibited.
Fans are asked to consider any of the following alternate modes of Matchday travel:
Park & Ride
If driving to the ground, supporters are advised to use the Cambridge Matchday Return Park & Ride service.
Home and away supporters can take advantage of the Cambridge Park & Ride, with a Matchday Return ticket priced at £3 from Newmarket Road Park & Ride, CB5 8AA.
Rail
Cambridge North is the closest train station to the Cledara Abbey Stadium, which is 1.2 miles away, whilst Cambridge station is 2 miles from the stadium.
Our partners, Greater Anglia have great fares available and you can save 1/3 off the price of your ticket with a Railcard. Download the Greater Anglia App to purchase your travel tickets and check for real-time travel updates.
Bus
A Citibus C3 bus stops within a few yards of the ground (Ditton Walk stop) on Newmarket Road and runs from the Railway Station and through the city centre every ten minutes during the day, and at longer intervals in the evenings. Check the Stagecoach website for more details and a Citi 3 timetable.
Bike/E-Scooter
We also have an increased number of cycle and Voi racks, situated by the Kids’ Zone on Newmarket Road.
We understand the challenges due to our lack of Matchday Parking at the ground, however, it is important that fans are conscious of the impact that their parking in residential areas can have on members of our local community.
