Pre-match applause for those we lost in 2024...
Before kick-off on Wednesday, we are inviting supporters to join us in remembering members of the wider Cambridge United family that we have sadly lost over the past year.
If you would like to commemorate a loved one that has passed away in 2024, please email announcements@cambridgeunited.com with the following details prior to 5pm on New Year’s Eve:
- Name
- Year of Birth
- Photo of passed supporter
Please arrive at your seat in good time ahead of kick-off to allow for the tribute to take place in a timely and respectful manner.
East Anglian Air Ambulance...
We are pleased to welcome East Anglian Air Ambulance to the match on Wednesday as they join us to honour the life-saving actions of steward, Paul Harrison, who helped save supporter David Ince's life at a match earlier this year.
Paul will be presented with a certificate from EAAA, recognising early CPR and the vital role he played in David's recovery. Michael Morrison and his family will also be at the presentation, after Michael's daughter suffered a medical emergency earlier in the year, and was attended to by EAAA.
EAAA provides critical care to, on average, six people every day across Cambridgeshire, Bedfordshire, Norfolk and Suffolk. The charity, which receives no regular government funding, relies almost entirely on public donations to provide the 24/7 life-saving service.
Check out their Rapid Response Vehicle in the Mead Plant & Grab Family South Stand before kick-off, and chat to their volunteers who will be bucket collecting around the ground.
On Wednesday we welcome Lucy Appleton, Isaac Martindale, Isla Murphy, Jayden Wing, Lucas Howard, Oliver Howard as our Mascots for the day!
A big thank you also goes to Witchford Colts U13 boys - our Ball Crew for the afternoon.
Click here for more information on our Matchday Mascot packages.
Abbey Helpers...
If you have any questions or queries on the day of the game, please speak to our Abbey Helpers who are wearing high-viz jacket and will be located around the ground.

Cambridge United looks forward to welcoming Reading's travelling supporters to the Cledara Abbey Stadium. There are no away tickets remaining - Royals fans should not make the journey if they do not already have a ticket.

The Cledara Abbey Stadium will remain a cashless policy this season, affecting all outlets inside the ground. Cash will still be accepted outside the stadium - in the Shop, Ticket Office and by roaming Programme and 50/50 sellers outside the ground.
