We are also pleased to have Whittlesford Warriors Reds U11s, Bar Hill Warriors U11s and Whittlesford Warriors Whites U11s as our Matchday Experience teams.

Simon Dobbin Tribute...

Please join us ahead of kick-off as we remember supporter Simon Dobbin with a minute's applause ahead of kick-off. Simon was brutally attacked 10 years ago last weekend, as he was travelling home from a game against Southend United, which left him with life-changing injuries. Simon tragically lost his life in 2020.

We are joined by Simon's family on Saturday, for what will be a poignant and powerful pre-match tribute.

Foundation Matchday...

This weekend's game is the Club's dedicated Foundation Matchday as the Club celebrates the work and achievements of its official charity.

Supporters are encouraged to show their support for the Foundation by bringing a pound to the ground and donating to their bucket collection on Saturday. Proceeds from the afternoon’s 50/50 draw will also go to Cambridge United Foundation.

Hundreds of participants have been invited to the game and will be watching the on-pitch action from the Mead Family Stand, whilst United’s first team players will wear Foundation t-shirts during their warm-ups.

This weekend’s Programme is dedicated to the Foundation and will include a number of stories and features on their outstanding work.

Young fans can look forward to enjoying a Mead Family Stand Treasure Hunt, with medals to be won and Astrazeneca, the Foundation's community sponsor, will be in the Kids' Zone ahead of kick-off, helping youngsters learn more about science in a fun manner!

Finally, Potton Primary School, our representatives at the EFL’s Utilita Kids Cup, will entertain supporters at half-time with a kick-around on the pitch.

Former Players Appreciation Day...

We look forward to welcoming former players to this weekend’s game, as part of the Club’s Former Player Appreciation Day.

After the success of the first dedicated match in August, former first team players of any era have been invited to Saturday’s game for free of charge.

They will be gathering in the Supporters’ Club from 1pm, so if you would like to meet some United greats of the past, pop-in and show your appreciation before kick-off.

Abbey Helpers...

If you have any questions or queries on the day of the game, please speak to our Abbey Helpers who are wearing high-viz jacket and will be located around the ground.

Supporters who would like to use the room should speak to a nearby steward.

Travel…

There is no on-site car parking available at the Cledara Abbey Stadium and supporters are advised to use alternative modes of transport or the Cambridge Matchday Return Park & Ride service.

This reminder comes following reports in recent weeks of a large number of supporters parking on Ditton Walk and surrounding streets, which has meant for obstructed access to residents and potentially emergency service vehicles. Parking on residential drives and grass verges is prohibited.

If you'd like to catch a train, check out the Greater Anglia website for the latest train times and service updates.

Need a lift? A2B Taxicabs provide a taxi service to the drop off area at the ground. The prompt and reliable taxi firm provide a service to Cambridge, Ely, Milton, Littleport, Waterbeach, Soham, Grantchester, Stretham, Histon, Sutton and the surrounding villages. To book a matchday taxi contact A2B Taxicabs on 01223 629 629.

If you require disabled parking, please call the Club on 01223 566500 and for more altenative methods of getting to the ground, please click here.

Supporter Behaviour...

Cambridge United would like to remind its supporters that anti-social and criminal behaviours at football grounds across the country will result in serious sanctions.

Acts such as entering the pitch without permission, carrying or using smoke bombs or pyrotechnics and throwing objects - as well as drug use and discriminatory behaviour.

These acts are dangerous, illegal and have severe consequences. They have no place in football, or anywhere.

Report It...

Safety at the Cledara Abbey Stadium remains a key priority on a Matchday and should you witness anti-social or discriminatory behaviour, please speak to a steward, report it via the Club's anonymous reporting textline - 075224 73291 - or through our online Report an Incident page.
