Cambridge United are pleased to announce that Sullay Kaikai has signed a new one-year contract...
The 28-year-old attacker joined the U's last summer on an initial one-year deal and was a consistent performer in his first year with the Club, as he made 47 appearances across all competitions.
His high point came in February, as he was named Love Cambridge Player of the Month following a string of outstanding performances in which the winger secured four assists, and scored one goal.
"I am really happy to sign with the club for another year," Kaikai said
"The club is heading in an exciting direction and I want to play my part in it. I loved my first full season and it means a lot to have the confidence of the manager, teammates, and fans.
“It’s about building upon last season, growing within the gaffer’s set-up and improving as both an individual and a collective.”
Garry Monk added, "I am delighted Sullay has decided to rejoin us. He is a player who has undoubted qualities and has shown in the past he can provide match-winning moments with the attributes he has.
"I believe there is more to come from him, and with the hard work we are going to demand from the players this season, Sullay has the opportunity to take his game to new levels.”
