Cambridge United are pleased to announce that Zeno Ibsen Rossi has signed a new contract with the Club…
The 23-year-old defender has put pen-to-paper on a new deal, which runs until at least the summer of 2026. A performance-related trigger to extend for a further year is also included.
Ibsen Rossi joined the U’s in 2022 from AFC Bournemouth and has made 27 appearances for the Club to date, including in five of the final games last season, under Head Coach Garry Monk.
“I am really happy to sign this new contract and to know where I’ll be for the next few years – I wouldn’t want to be anywhere else.
“I love it here - I think the environment is brilliant, I love the city and I feel really comfortable and at home.
“I have been in and out of playing for various reasons but I feel like whenever I have played I have shown what I can do. I am excited to show more and to have a really big impact on this team.”
Ibsen Rossi signed his new contract whilst away with the First Team at their Training Camp in Portugal. United face Bromley tomorrow (Saturday 20 July) for their final friendly of the trip.
