Cambridge United would like to advise supporters of an issue relating to the processing of card payments for food and drink purchases at recent home fixtures…
During last season the Club changed card provider and opted to instal machines which included a payment back up facility which allows for payments to be taken during periods when WIFI signal is lost. These payments are then stored and processed when connectivity is regained, usually within minutes of the original transaction.
Due to a processing issue the club is aware of stored transactions being processed several weeks after the original time of purchase. This is a technical issue which has today been resolved, with all stored payments being processed.
