Cambridge United Women U18s' fantastic season continues to impress as they reach the final of the Cambridgeshire Invitation Cup...
A 2-0 win over Histon on Sunday booked their place in the final, which will take place at 3pm on Sunday 28 April at Soham Town Rangers.
Following the formation of the U18s last summer, United entered the junior side into the compeition, which was won by the seniors last season. Victories over Manea, Chatteris, Burwell and Histon has United's youngsters on the verge of making history in their first season together.
History beckons in the league too, as with two games to go they sit joint-second, just three points behind Derby County at the top of the table.
Their penultimate game of the season is this Saturday 23 March against fellow title-chasing Nottingham Forest. The game kicks-off at 10:30am from Cambourne Village College and with no Men's First Team game this weekend, it's a great opportunity to show your support for our young super-stars.
In Women's First Team news, the venue for the FAWNL Plate Final has been confirmed. Cambridge United will face Derby County at Broadhurst Park, home of FC United of Manchester on Sunday 21 April.
