Cambridge United would like to remind all supporters attending Saturday’s Cambridgeshire Derby at the Cledara Abbey Stadium that they ambassadors of their respective Clubs and have an obligation to behave in a manner which aligns with their community and family focused values...
The Club will not tolerate behaviour at games (including within stadia, local establishments, and public transport) which threatens to tarnish the good reputation of the many other passionate, yet respectful U’s supporters.
Anyone attending is reminded that the use of pyrotechnics, the throwing of missiles, entering the field of play, or any area outside of those reserved for spectators, are in clear breach of ground regulations. These actions are also categorised as criminal offences and, therefore, punishable by the law.
In addition, offensive, inappropriate or discriminatory chanting of any nature will not be tolerated. Any supporters found guilty of such behaviour or breaching ground regulations will face lengthy or lifetime bans.
Turnstiles and bars will open at 10am, with supporters being advised to arrive early due to localised traffic. The Main Car Park gate will close at 11am and remain closed until supporters have safely departed at full time.
This is an all-ticket fixture with a small amount of home tickets still available, which can be purchased inline with the relevant restrictions.
Thank you in advance to everyone coming to Saturday’s game. We hope you have an enjoyable derby day, and know you will be United in Endeavour in backing Barr Corr and the team from well before kick-off unti the final whistle.
