Trials for aspiring young footballers to join Cambridge United's Youth Development teams begin this week...
Opportunities for players aged U7s-U16s, including outfield boys, girls and goalkeepers are coming up soon as six weeks of trials are about to get underway across the region.
Successful trialists will join the Club's Youth Development programme, which is the first step of our Academy pathway.
The programme aims to provide each player with the tools to thrive within our environment and has a demonstrated history of supporting its players throughout their journey to become the best version of themselves, both on-and-off the pitch.
Some stand-out examples of players who have progressed through this route to play First Team football are Harry Darling - now of Swansea City - and Mistie Fox-Barker, who plays for Cambridge United Women.
Please view trial locations below:
- Boys: Bedford and Witchford
- Girls: Cambourne, Cambridge and Swavesey

Trials run up until October Half-Term - to view all the locations and dates for each respective age group, and to book on, please click here.
