Following Friday’s proposed new crest reveal, the Crest Design Feedback Survey is being sent out to supporters on the Club’s database…
Fans who have bought a Match or Season Ticket over the past two seasons are being sent the survey to gain feedback on the proposed crest, in-order to assist the Club with the development of the design and the next steps in the process.
Majority Owner, Paul Barry said, "We recognise that changing crests will always split opinion which is why we have tried to approach this in a collaborative way. So today we are asking for your views on the proposed new design as the next stage of the process.
"Although change is never easy, as I said on Friday, I firmly believe that change is critical to our long term future development.
"We are the only professional Club in arguably the fastest growing city in the country, a city whose name is known the world over and one which is the birthplace of the rules of football.
"These are all assets we need to try to make the most of commercially because by doing so, we can invest more on the pitch as we seek to remain competitive.
"For all the affection for our current badge, it does not enable us to do this as much as we undoubtedly need it to - now and in the future. But we do want to take the time to get it right and understanding the views of fans will help us do that.
“Whatever your view please reply constructively to the survey as your comments will help guide us to the next stage.”
The survey will close on Monday 25 September at 5pm.
If you haven't received the survey by Wednesday 20 September but are a supporter and wish to take part in the survey, please send an email to crest@cambridgeunited.com.
