Cambridge United supporters can now vote for their Love Cambridge Player of the Month for September 2023...
It was another good month for Mark Bonner's men, who picked up five points from their four league games against Reading, Wigan Athletic, Port Vale and Derby County.
This month's nominees are Will Mannion, Michael Morrison, Ryan Bennett and Fejiri Okenabirhie.
After being thrust back into action following last month's injury to Jack Stevens, Will Mannion has been a stand-out performer, helping the team to another two clean-sheets and conceding just three goals from the four league games.
Michael Morrison and Ryan Bennett are nominees for similair reasons, as the pair of experienced centre-backs excelled from the back, leading the way with assurance and authority over the course of the past calendar month.
At the other end of the pitch, Fejiri Okenabirhie continued his goalscoring exploits in September, adding another three goals to his tally - including a crucial winner against Reading and equaliser against Port Vale.
