Cambridge United can confirm that Under 18s Head Coach Jimmy Unwin has left the Club to pursue another opportunity...
Since joining the Club in 2018, Unwin has led the Academy's Under 18s with distinction, overseeing record-equalling and record-breaking FA Youth Cup campaigns and helping a number of players achieve professional contracts at the end of their scholarships.
Academy Manager, Dom Knighton said, "As a football club there is a responsibility for staff to leave their positions in a stronger place than when they inherited it. Jimmy has without doubt done, this going above and beyond on countless occasions.
"He has been an integral part of creating some lifelong memories for our players who have progressed through our Academy programme."
