You will deliver 200 practical coaching hours, spread across the year, to enhance your skills as a coach, this is supported with lectures delivered through online content, overseen by your course mentor. There is an option of a third top up year, which will see you graduate with BSc (Hons) Community Football Coaching and Administration.
With the broad variety of taught modules within the course, many career paths and opportunities become a possibility; by the end of your degree you will be prepared to work in a professional football club’s community department or a National Governing Body in areas of growth, such as social inclusion, community coaching and football development.
So, what do you need to apply? The typical A-level offer is DD with at least one in Science, Maths, PE or Psychology. From a BTEC Diploma you will require MM and the BTEC Extended Diploma requirement is MPP in a relevant subject. However, each and every application will be reviewed and considered.
