Behind-closed-doors fixtures against Tottenham Hotspur U21s, Gillingham and Cardiff City have been added to Cambridge United’s pre-season friendly slate…
Mark Bonner’s squad begin pre-season by heading to South Wales next week for a training camp ahead of a behind-closed-doors friendly in the nation’s capital on Friday 7 July.
Although supporters are not able to attend, Cardiff City TV will be streaming the game. Details on how to watch will be released in due course.
A few days later, on Tuesday 11 July, the squad will test themselves in a behind-closed-doors game against Spurs U21s.
The first opportunity for supporters to get a glimpse of the 2023/24 squad will be in St Albans on Saturday 15 July for a 1pm kick-off.
The Abbey plays host to Ipswich Town at 12pm on Saturday 22 July, before a behind-closed-doors game against Gillingham on Tuesday 25 July.
Finally, the U’s head to Barnet on Saturday 29 July for a 3pm kick-off, one week before the Sky Bet League One season gets underway on Saturday 5th August.
