Cambridge United have today been ranked third in the Fair Game Index...
Carried out by groups Responsiball and Ethical Consumer and a wider team of independent researchers, the study rates each club for financial sustainability, good governance, equality standards and fan engagement, all measures set to come under the remit of football’s proposed Independent Regulator in 2025.
Scoring 69.83, the third highest among all 92 clubs and top in League One, the U’s were also ranked first in the nation for Good Governance.
Chair of the Board Shaun Grady stated, "We are pleased that the collective hard work across the Club over recent years has been recognised by this survey but know we still have much more to do.
"It’s a team effort - owners, Board, staff, players and fans - and we are all working hard to continue to make progress in every area of the Club.”
