Chelsea Youth Cup tie moved to Weds 25th January

Cambridge United's FA Youth Cup match against Chelsea has been moved to Wednesday 25th January...

Following the recent damage to the Main Stand roof, the fixture has had to be moved as repairs are expected to be concluded by early next week.

Cambridge face nine-time winners Chelsea in the Fourth Round of the FA Youth Cup as the U's youngsters aim to create more history in the competition.

United made the Fifth Round last season where they were beaten by eventual finalists, Nottingham Forest, but face their sternest test in many years next week when Chelsea come to town.

Tickets for the 7pm kick-off cost just £5 for Adults and £2 for U18s. Only the Main Stand will be open for this fixture and supporters are encouraged to buy their tickets in-advance.

Supporters can buy their tickets from cufctickets.com, selecting e-ticket delivery and scanning their way through the Main Stand turnstiles via a mobile device. There will be two turnstiles in operation - one for pre-paid tickets and one where payment will be taken prior to entry.

The Dion Dublin Bar will be open for supporters to enjoy a pre-match drink and catering outlets outside the Main Stand will also be in operation.

All U's fans are encouraged to show their support and get behind our youngsters for what will be an occasion to remember under the Abbey lights.
