Cambridge United Head Coach Neil Harris praised his players following a second successive win at the Abbey Stadium...
An all-round performance was capped off with goals from Gassan Ahadme and Elias Kachunga to send United supporters into Christmas feeling merry and full of good-will.
After the final whistle, the U's boss disected the game when he spoke to the media.
On the performance...
"The game went exactly as I thought it would if I am being honest. They were always going to try and have the ball tonight, what matters is what you do in both boxes.
"We are delighted with the result but disappointed that we didn't score five or six tonight. It was all us in the vital moments."
On getting the second goal...
"In the second half we were outstanding for 25 minutes and we should have scored more goals if I am being honest.
"Football can bite you on the bum so the second goal was important. It was a great contribution from Jack Lankester and we have talked a lot about Elias playing higher up the pitch, so I am delighted he got on the score-sheet."
On a strong start to his time as Head Coach...
"I am pleased for everybody. To see the ground full, to see the connection between the terrace and the pitch and to see fans enjoying watching their team - it's fantastic.
"It's a step in the right direction for us. We want to keep it running and we have a tricky three game period now that we can look forward to.
"Nobody is getting carried away - we know how we got here but we have set our standards now."
