Cambridge United supporters are encouraged to show their support for former U's player, Jordan Patrick after a recent accident has caused a bleed on the brain...
Jordan came through United's Cambridge Regional College Scheme as a youngster and went onto play for the First Team, memorably scoring against Hayes and Yeading in 2011 to all but seal the Club's place in the Conference Premier for another season.
The 32-year-old who was most recently playing for Hadleigh United is now unable to work or play football for the foreseeable future after suffering a brain injury, and supporters are therefore asked to play their part in helping him and his family.
There are four options on how you can show your support:
- Click here to donate towards an online crowdfunder that is being organised by Hadleigh Town.
- Click here to bid for a signed Jordan Patrick print
- Click here to bid for signed Jack Lankester boots
- Or buy a raffle ticket from the CFU outlet ahead of the Saturday 16 December game against Blackpool. One lucky raffle player will also win a signed shirt.
Alternatively, buy a raffle ticket from the CFU outlet ahead of tomorrow's game against Fleetwood or the Saturday 16 December game against Blackpool. One lucky raffle player will also win a signed shirt.
On behalf of everyone associated with Cambridge United, we hope for a speedy recovery and send our very best wishes.
