The Club would like to advise supporters that from Tuesday’s match against Stevenage, the Intelligent Membranes Habbin Stand will operate as two separate stands, Habbin North and Habbin South...
Since the start of last season, the Club is pleased to have seen its attendance significantly grow, with Saturday’s opening game of the season seeing the biggest home opening day attendance since 1982.
The structural configuration of the Habbin Stand means that due to the location of the TV gantry stairs in the centre of the stand, a physical barrier is created. Consequently, this requires the stand to be managed in a safe manner that includes the control of the number of supporters on each side, in order to prevent overcrowding. Whilst the Club has explored relocating the TV gantry and access stairs, this is unfortunately something which is unable to be undertaken at this stage.
As per last season, the Intelligent Membranes Habbin Stand will be allocated to home supporters for all fixtures with the exception of Fleetwood Town, Cheltenham Town and Burton Albion, where the South Habbin will be allocated to away supporters and the South Stand to home supporters, in order to increase seating capacity.
The Club recognises that food and drink facilities in the South Habbin are not on a par with other stands and will be making further investment into this area in the coming weeks.
Tickets for both the South Habbin and North Habbin will be made available for public purchase at the time of fixtures going on sale, whilst Season Tickets will only be able to be purchased in the North Habbin.
Supporters can transfer their tickets prior to entering the ground online via their CUFC Tickets account, over the phone (01223 566500) or in-person, but please note, once inside the stadium there will be no transferring between areas.
