Cambridge United Women have bolstered their squad ahead of the 2023/24 season, with the signing of seven new players...
Fran Steele, Zoe Wood, Brooke Cheal-Ferris, Jess Morley, Bronwyn Mulheron, Sophie Marjoram, Mistie Fox-Barker and Annie Posnett have all joined the squad this summer, joining a strong core of retained players at the Club.
“We set out this close season to add quality and depth to the squad and we feel really happy with the players that have joined, and importantly to have also retained the players we wanted to stay," Head Coach Darren Marjoram said.
"We have strengthened considerably this year, and every player now signed to the club has a part to play in the season ahead. I’m really looking forward to seeing how far this group can help take us.”
In addition to the newly signed senior players, three young players from last season's development team have made the step up to the First Team - Serena Cobb, Beatrice Rogers and Eleanor Townsend.
