The first ever Junior U's Takeover took place at Saturday's home game against Port Vale as a handful of young Cambridge United supporters were left with magic memories after a memorable day at the Abbey Stadium...
View the best photos from the day as Teddy Allen (Junior Manager), George Haslam (Junior Safety Officer), Isaac Edwards (Junior Commentator), Harrison Carter (Junior Media Officer) and Georgia and Hayden Marshall (Junior Directors) were given unique access to their favourite Club.
After taking part in the pre-match press conference on Thursday, Teddy met with Mark Bonner and the coaching staff early on Saturday, sharing his game-plan with the Gaffer before meeting the players and watching the warm-ups from the dug-outs.
George received rare access to the Cambridge United Safety Team, attending the pre-match referee briefings and testing out the emergency PA system before watching the game from the control room.
Isaac joined the BBC Radio Cambridgeshire commentary team for the afternoon, before joining Doug Shulman for Mark Bonner's post-match interview.
Harrison worked with the Club's Media Team throughout the day, helping prepare the teamsheets, filming social media content during the warm-ups and leading the official minute-by-minute tweets.
Finally, Georgia and Hayden Marshall ate lunch in the boardroom with the home and away directors before watching the game from the best seats in the house.
A big well done to all the youngsters who participated in our Junior U's Takeover on Saturday! π #CamUTD
