Lifebuoy, Official Hygiene Partner of the EFL, are running a kids hygiene programme called Soaper Heroes which is put in place to improve hand hygiene behaviour through fun and engaging football related games & activities...
Last night, the girls at Cottenham United Colts took part in a hosted Soaper Heroes activity with U's goalkeeper Dimitar Mitov!
Cottenham United were one of the many clubs who took part in the programme in 2022 and won the session through the prize draw when signing up.
The girls took part in the Soaper Heroes warm-up activity where children team up to tackle the germs until there are no germs left in the game!
Initially, none of the girls wanted to tackle Dimi in fear of injuring him ahead of playing Sheffield Wednesday on Saturday, however, it didn’t last long before the girls managed to get the ball off him to become Soaper Heroes.
Dimi then met some of the girls within the Club ranging from the U12’s squad to U18’s, before gathering all the teams to have their photographs taken. Next up an autograph session, where Dimi signed everything from a Soaper Heroes sticker to one of the girl’s socks.
