Cambridge United supporters travelling to Peterborough on Saturday should make note of the following guidance...
Tickets
A sold-out allocation of 2,248 will be making the journey up the A1 to back the U's in the Cambridgeshire Derby. No tickets remain available for travelling fans.
United supporters will be housed in the DESKGO Stand and fans are encouraged to arrive as early as possible, with checks upon entering the stadium expected to be carried out.
Parking
There is no public car park at the Stadium with the nearest parking available at the Pleasure Fair Meadow and Railworld car parks, situated opposite the ground. The satnav postcode for these car parks is PE2 8AT.
For traffic, travel and parking information including a map of car parks from the Peterborough City Council, click here.
Otherwise, there is street parking to be found on side streets further up Oundle Road. Supporters are reminded to check for parking restrictions as man side streets near the ground operate a residents only parking scheme.
By Train
Peterborough Railway Station is around a mile away from the stadium and it takes roughly 20 minutes to walk.
Supporters should turn right when exiting the station and follow the main road. At the traffic lights near to the Rivergate Shopping Centre, turn right. Go over the bridge and you can see the floodlights of London Road, over on your left.
Cashless
The Weston Homes Stadium is a cashless stadium meaning only card transactions will be accepted as a form of payment.
Away Pubs
The following pubs will be welcoming away fans on Saturday:
- Charters - A real ale bar - Charters Bar - Peterborough (charters-bar.com)
- Drapers - The Drapers Arms | Pub in Cambridgeshire - J D Wetherspoon
- The Brewery Tap - Welcome - The Brewery Tap - Peterborough (thebrewery-tap.com)
- The Queens Head - Welcome to The Queens Head (queensheadpeterborough.co.uk)
- Sir Henry Royce - Sir Henry Royce Pub in Peterborough | Pub & Restaurant (greatukpubs.co.uk)
The majority of pubs will be closing after the match to prepare for their Night Time Economy.
Finally, supporters are asked to represent the Club in the best possible way and to get behind the team in a passionate, prideful but respectful manner.
