A charity is auctioning a signed Cambridge United t-shirt to raise money for children with brain tumours...
Tom’s Trust, which provides psychological care for children with brain tumours and their families, is holding an auction to coincide with its very first Race Day at Newmarket Racecourse on 18 June.
While a small number of auction prizes will only be available to guests on the day, the charity is holding a large auction online which is open to the general public, with a number of exciting prizes donated by local businesses.
One of the prizes is a 2021/22 Cambridge United shirt which has been framed and signed by the players. Bids for the prize start at £50.
Other prizes include a year’s membership to the Fitzwilliam Museum and a VIP restaurant experience at Newmarket Racecourse.
Debs Mitchell, Co-Founder of Tom’s Trust, said, “We hope through our Race Day and our auction that we can raise £40,000 to provide a clinical psychologist for the children we support. We have a number of really exciting prizes so please take a look and bid generously as our psychologists make a life-changing difference to our Tom’s Trust families.”
