Cambridge United second year apprentice, Brandon Njoku has been named in the LFE (League Football Education) 11 for December 2022...
The LFE acknowledges performances on the pitch and also in the classroom, as well as assessing other factors such as involvement within the community or charity-based initiatives.
Brandon has had a challenging start to the season due to injury, which kept him off the pitch for a period during the first half of the season.
The 18-year-old has displayed exceptional resilience during his recovery, while his attitude off-the-pitch has caught the attention of his mentors and peers. On the pitch, Njoku has been instrumental in the U18s FA Youth Cup run to the Fifth Round, with goals against Portsmouth and Colchester to his name.
Harsh Joshi, Head of Education said, “Brandon has worked exceptionally hard this Half Term during his lessons and on his assignments. Brandon has gone and beyond to ensure the work he has produced is of excellent quality."
Everyone at Cambridge United would like to congratulate Brandon on his selection and for his continued hard work.
